A leadership communication programme that works on unlocking the power of authentic, influential communication skills. The focus is on developing clear, credible impact and increasing confidence as an engaging speaker both in spontaneous interactions and pre-prepared opportunities, such as presentations, pitches, webinars and panels.

SOME OF WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Understanding the strengths and challenges of your personal communication style, identifying non-verbal credibility killers, creating certainty through tone, using pause and pace, increasing gravitas, eliminating over-talk and waffle, increasing awareness of fillers, answering challenging questions, establishing credibility when speaking about yourself and your experience, editing for impact, structuring presentations, bringing personality to speaking opportunities and dealing with speaking anxiety.

• THE STRUCTURE: There are four 90-minute group workshops and four 50-minute 1-2-1 coaching sessions which take place over an 8-10 week period.

• 1-2-1 COACHING SESSIONS: This is where we work intensively on the challenges coming up for each participant. Everyone’s experience during the programme is different as everyone’s communication strengths and challenges are different.

• THE FOCUS: The focus is identifying and connecting participants with their speaking strengths and using these as the foundation for the techniques, structures and message creation strategies.

• RECORDED PRACTICE: Participants have the option to be recorded during speaking practice to see themselves in action. These recordings are reviewed 1-2-1 with the trainer and this perspective allows participants to connect with their speaking strengths and identify development points.

• THE TRAINER: Eve Tomlinson has a background in TV where she developed nationally-recognised talent and worked in live daily programming. She has held a range of executive positions and run large teams so understands the challenge of day-to-day leadership communication. Additionally Eve has an academic background in linguistics and a foundation in transactional analysis.
